“Flying with one of the most knowledgeable and experienced pilot and flight instructors in the world will always yield a great experience. Combine that with one of the fastest and most technologically advanced single engine planes flying today and the unique vistas and challenging instrument approaches of Alaska, and you will get logbook entries like none other.  I highly recommend the Alaska TTx IFR adventure with Field.”  – Jeff Berman

A Four-Day/25 hour Adventure in our Cessna Corvalis TTx

This exciting Adventure is designed around the fastest single-engine piston plane on the market……the Cessna Corvalis TTx, with its Twin Turbo Continental 310 HP engine and Garmin G2000 touch pad flight deck. Combine this with the maybe, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the majestic scenery and grandeur of the great American wilderness.

The TTx is the ideal airplane for this Adventure. With its high altitude capability coupled with FIKI ability to operate in “known icing,” you will stretch your knowledge and IFR experience. Much of the flight may be in the real-world IMC found in Alaska, plus with five decades of providing IFR flight training, Field has many stories to tell.

After departure from Medford you will cross over into Canada and be introduced to the formalities of clearing Canadian customs using CANPASS. You will see gorgeous fjords as you travel up Vancouver Island along the British Columbia coastline, return back to the United States, clearing U.S. customs at Ketchikan, Alaska. Following your introduction to Alaska at Ketchikan, the trip will take you to planned stops at Sitka, Yakutat, Kenai, Anchorage, Valdez, Juneau and other points of interest. The ability to comfortably climb to Flight Level 250 is a great opportunity to “top” Denali, the highest mountain in North America.
